Your own tissue.: Implants weren't there to start with, but your own cells were, so you can expect more problems from implants...Far more. I have had a wonderful experience with fat transfer to the buttocks, and very, very few complaints or problems. Furthermore the results do last, no matter what anyone says, and provide a natural shape, contour, and feel.

Apples and oranges: Butt lift is to treat buttock ptosis, ie sag, whereas, butt implants are used to augment the profile or the projection of the buttock. In as such, butt lift involves lifting of the buttock skin in an upward fashion. At times, both a lift and implantation may be beneficial.

A few: - implant is from your own body if done with your fat - no chance of malposition of the implant with time - no chance of skin breakage by implant - aesthetic improvement of area that donated the fat graft - more natural results and appearance of buttock area.

Lift vs implants: A "butt lift" tightens skin and elevates the buttock tissues, implants augment the buttocks (making them larger or fuller. If you are referring to a Brazilian Butt Lift whereby your own fat tissue is used to augment the buttocks, the advantages of a BBL over implants are quite significant including implants have a higher complication rate and the results are not as good.
