At 16, you're not: a candidate for surgery and it's unlikely you need it . Focus on dance and sports.

Implants: I perform fat transfer to the buttocks (Brazilian butt lift). This is where excess fat is taken from unwanted areas such as the thighs or hips and inserted into the upper buttocks to give them a more rounded, perkier appearance. It is a safe and effective procedure.

Butt implants were used for a long time, and continue to be used in other countries. Here in the US, most surgeons have switched to fat grafting in the majority of cases. It is safer, less complications and gives a more predictable result. In patients that have very low body fat, BBL might not be possible so gluteal implants may then be the only option.

The major difference is complication rates. In buttock implants at least 25% complications occur vs fat grafts or BBL less than 10% rates.
