Hip flexor hurts!: Hip flexor strain is a muscle, possibly tendon or bursa, injury that doesn't show up on x-rays which show bones. Hip flexor injuries hurt! they require appropriate diagnosis and treatment usually involving activity modification, anti-inflammatory, manual therapy(pt), and addressing any predisposing factors such as abnormal gait, muscle imbalance, foot malalignment.
