Probably IBS: I agree with that your G.I. Doctor that this may be irritable bowel syndrome and not also have colitis crohn's disease or other types of active colitis. Lymphoid hyperplasia is a very common condition in the colon and terminal ileum. Chronic inflammation is very nonspecific and when mild with out features of autoimmune disease is often a variant of normal.
