Fever for a week 38-40 with neck lymph node swelling initially and nw reduced. fever is still there. went to doc n given ciproflocaxin to no effect.

Take fever med: Cipro is antibiotic for the infection = 2-3 days to see change. You should be taking tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil around the clock with fever that high to keep it under control and reduce how bad you feel. If not improving, or any worsening, go to er.
