My 3 year old son is breathing fast. my wife and i counted about 60 or so breaths per min. he does have a fever and a stuffy nose?

Breathing rapidly: Please bring your son to the hospital or to your pediatrician. It is possible that he has pneumonia. You can give him tylenol (acetaminophen) to help bring the fever down which might help with his rapid breathing a little bit. If he is coughing or congested, he may have an infection which may need to be treated with antibiotics, i would bring him to medical attention today.
