A member asked:

Why does my stomach swell up when i just have one bite of food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lots of causes: Early satiety (feeling full or distended quickly with eating) is very common and is usually benign. However, without knowing more about you and your history, impossible to say. The list ranges from ulcers to cancers to poor stomach tolerance to food and distension. Red flags would include weight loss, vomiting, black or bloody stools, diarrhea. Either way some basic tests would be helpful.
