Reflux: You likely have acid reflux despite the normal endoscopy findings. A pH monitor would be more accurate. Consider avoiding eating/drinking at least 2 hours prior to bedtime (3 hrs preferable). Avoid acidic or fatty foods. Try sleeping on a wedge with 4-6 inches of elevation. If the above measures failed, consider taking an anti-acid pill at bedtime.

Digestion problem: Stomach acidity, or reflux, may have many causes. A few more common reasons may be food sensitivities, overeating, eating at the wrong time. Eating and drinking too close to bedtime can result in incomplete digestion and when you lie down, it is easier for the acid to come up. Try to avoid eating and/or drinking a few hours before bedtime. Try to avoid foods that seem to make it worse.
