See below: If you're not eating enough calories, your body goes into starvation mode & doesn't burn many. U need about 2600 cal/day to maintain your current weight; so if u plan to eat only 2000 cal/day (broken up into 4-6 mini-meals) & continue exercise, u should lose weight. Avoid fast food, sugary foods & drinks; eat lean protein, good fats, fruits & veggies (low glycemic ones r best), low-fat dairy.

Nutrition & exercise: Complicated question. 1st, go see your family doc & make sure you're otherwise healthy aside from obesity. Make sure your thyroid is normal. Then get consult to talk w/nutritionist & physical therapist. Not eating a lot is not the way to lose weight. You have to eat smart & healthy so talk to registered dietician. Lots of protein is key. So is exercise but under supervision of physical therapist.
