Itis as a postfix: Implies inflammation, always associated with pain so i don't buy the diagnosis. Vitamin c for treatment was a good idea anyway.

Pharyngitis-??: Pharyngitis is an inflammation of the back of the throat caused by bacterial or viral infection, or mechanical irritation like stomach acid. What was seen to diagnose this? If you have no pain or other symptoms you may want to visit an ENT to get a better look at your throat. Vitamin c will do nothing for pharyngitis, but a multivitamin is always a good idea. Good luck!
