We don't in the US: I know some fare east cultures like to offer honey as a ritual celebration & wish for success. However, there are often spores(seeds) of botulism germs in the product that can grow in a babies digestive tract and cause infant botulism. This can cause paralysis of the breathing muscle & baby can die. We don't offer honey until after 1yr when it is no longer a problem.
