My neck has been sore and stiff for over a year now. it started from a motorcycle crash. it cracks a lot when i try to stretch and has some swelling?

Tough to say: But any trauma can cause arthritic changes in a joint including your neck. It is also possible that you have some residual scar tissue from the injury to the muslces and ligaments around the neck. Typical treatment may include nsaids, ice and or heat. Visit to the chirpractor or md if it is not getting better.
