Wash your hands: While you may be correct that there is no soilage on your hands, universal precautions dictate that you wash your hands after patient contact, even if you have worn gloves. For one thing, there can be micro-contamination. More importantly, we should always wash before each patient contact, and after each patient contact. This is how we keep ourselves and our patients healthy, avoid germ spread.

Wash your hands: No visible blood does not mean that your gloves were completely protective. You should wash your hands.
