Not Standard: That dose of albuterol is not standard. Typically, you would use 2 puffs every four hours as needed. You need to call and speak to whomever prescribed it to clarify the dosing.

Depends: Albuterol is primarily used "as needed" for asthma symptoms--typically 2 puffs every 4-6 hours as needed. Symptoms of asthma include cough, wheezing, shortness of breath. I would recommend seeing your physician for more details.
