Possible.: Low iron does not in and of itself indicate what your pulse should be. Heart rate depends on many factors including the number of red blood cells in circulation. If iron levels become low for a long period of time the body cannot make sufficient red cells to carry oxygen so heart rate has to pick up to compensate. So... Low iron levels may be associated with an increased hr but not directly.
