Anemia: Hi! if you have iron deficiency, you are probably somewhat anemic. Anemia can certainly cause a fast heart rate with exercise. However, if your fast heart rate makes you dizzy or if it has been going on for some time, you should see your primary physician for blood tests and an electrocardiogram to make sure there is nothing else going on.
