Can chinese herbs cause palpitations or weak pulse? i have been taking about 12 different herbs for the last four days per my naturopath.

Herbs: Definitely can cause many side effects. See someone else. Multiple drugs taken over such a short period of time is mysterious. How would any provider, especially a relatively untrained "naturopath' , know when one or the other caused side effects, many which are well known with many "chinese herbs"? Find a doctor and discuss.

Herbs: See that you suffer from anxiety. Without knowing the specific herbs - it would be impossible to know their side effects. All herbs have potential side effects - just as standard medications do. With medications, i try to introduce slowly, so that the patient ; i can track response ; side effects to medications. 12 new compounds in your body at one time is a lot.

Anything is possible: The herbs used by naturopaths have not been subjected to clinical testing nor are the sources of these herbs regulated in any way. So it is totally unclear what you are getting, or what the effect of them would be even if they were what is listed on the label. So the symptoms you are experiencing are completely possible.

No one knows : By definition, "alternative" is different than modern western medicine. Generally any drug, herb, treatment, or procedure that stands up to rigorous scientific scrutiny is included in modern medicine. The problem is that many alternative practices, herbs etc do not stand up to scientific scrutiny and cannot be shown to work. They therefore remain "alternative". Be careful can be deadly
