Typically if your haemoglobin is fine then the low iron does not contribute to the palpitations. However, perhaps your haemoglobin would have been higher if the iron was higher and therefore your haemoglobin is lower than what would be usual for you. So in that way it could contribute to the palpitations. As you can see, it is all connected. Best to get your iron up and maximize your haemoglobin.
