NATTOKINASE/COUMADIN: Nattokinase is a natural supplement purported to be used as a substitute anticoagulant. It is contraindicated to be used with any blood thinner and even aspirin. Nattokinase is purely a supplement and should not be considered a first line anticoagulant and should NOT be used with coumadin. DVT treatment requires full anticoagulation.
