Pain: This subjective phenomenon (pain) can be a result of persistent infection, pressure of an expanding lesion on surrounding tissues, irritation of a nerve root, or may be due to something else. Would contact the doctor who treated you with Clindamycin and have them reexamine you. You should be clearing up shortly, but if in substantial pain, go see them.
