No cure: As she matures and her airway grows to its adult diameter she may have less symptoms. However it is likely she may have asthma into adulthood. The main therapy is inhaled steroids and short-acting bronchodilators .Montelukast is a suppressor of inflammation and is used in asthma control therapy. More serious disease may require long acting bronchodilators and oral steroids.
