CLL: CLL typically progresses more slowly than other types of leukemia. Prognosis depends on the disease stage at diagnosis as well as the presence or absence of high-risk markers. Most patients live 5-10 years, with a relatively benign course, which at her age does not sound too bad. Best of luck to both of you.
