Resources: Most counties in the U.S. have mental health programs that can provide assistance for patients with mental health diagnoses even if patients don't have private insurance. The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) has chapters in many cities/counties as well and are a good resource and referral base. Start at https://www.nami.org/ and search for a local chapter based on your location.
