Fibromyalgia?: Without further description, it is hard to say. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion, and your doctor will run a full battery if tests to rule out other causes.

Unlikely. : Fibromyalgia is a DX of exclusion. Go see your doctor. Random shooting pains could be so many different things. We need a better history and you will need to be examined, esp. For hyperreflexes.
