Kidney injury.: That cr level is elevated, meaning her kidney function is impaired. I assume she is in the hospital. Patients with liver disease can develop kidney injury from many causes including medications, poor dietary intake, and sometime advanced liver disease itself can lead to progressive kidney disease. She should be seen by a kidney specialist to determine what can be done for her kidneys. Good luck.
