See a rheumatologist: Uric acid levels may be totally normal in patients with gout. The inflammation occurs within the joint space with maldistribution of the gouty particles. This may or may not be gout. You need a full detailed evaluation by an experienced clinician with expertise in this area. Do not settle for less.
