Keep trying.: If you are off birth control and are having unprotected sex with a regular predictable menstrual cycle, the chance of natural conception each month is about 20%. Make sure you have sex around ovulation time. If you fail to conceive for more than 1 year, consult your obgyn for a fertility workup. Your male partner can obtain a semen analysis to quickly make sure there are no problems from his end.
