Fractured Jaw: It is not normal to have bone fragments extrude through skin or gums. You need to be evaluated by a facial reconstructive or oral surgeon.

Bone in Mouth: If bone is working its way out, this mean the bone is not fully healed, and likely infected, especially if the trauma occurred 8 years ago. Go see an oral surgeon or an ENT surgeon or a plastic surgery who treats facial trauma.
