Get seen: It can do worse, ruin your marriage and cause you not to get enough sleep at night. If the simple measure of sewing a tennis ball into the back of your pajama top fails, see your physician about a CPAP machine or throat surgery. Sometime's is simply huge tonsils. Good luck.

Depends how severe: You should consult with your md as snoring may be a sign of sleep apnea. Dental devices can be very effective to control both non-apneic snoring and sleep apnea. Losing weight, avoiding alcohol or sedating medications, and getting a good nights sleep regularly all can help as well.
