Corneal specialist: You need, preferably, to be under care of ophthalmologist who is specialized in cornea. If your corneal damage is under treated it can lead to corneal implant. You may need to take antiviral medicine by mouth. See ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Treatment can take from a few weeks to a few months.
