No: Wuthdrwals from xanax (alprazolam) is not related to the description you gave about your throat. It is a seperate problem and you need to talk to your primarycare physician.

Possible: Depends on the amount of xanax (alprazolam) and the length of time you have been taking it, withdrawal symptoms can range from unusual sensation in the body to seizures.
