I've been on 5mg xanax bid for 6 months now.i want to stop it.can i switch back to my 5mg vaginal valium(for i.c) & stop xanax?or taper? seizures??

Xanex?: Xanex is usuall given for anxiety or stress related symptoms. You are best advised to taper the dose, as in taking 5 mg once daily for a week or so, then stopping. Valium may complicate the withdrawal from Xanex.
