A 60-year-old member asked:
I have terrible itchiness and scaliness around my eyes. I am 49 and taking synthroid (thyroxine). Any ideas? I am not using new soap or make up.

Itchiness and eyes: You may have a form of blepharitis - similar to seborrhea of the scalp. Try using a warm washcloth. If that doesn't help - your doctor can check to make sure its not an infection and if not - prescribe some low potency steroid cream that should clear it up.
