Dr. Cirillo-Hyland completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard where she was a John Harvard Scholar for four years. She attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class. She is an Alpha Omega Alpha Scholar. Dr. Cirillo-Hyland completed her medical internship at The Brigham Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Cirillo-Hyland returned to The Hospital of theUniversity of Pennsylvania for her Dermatology residency. She has been on staff at The Bryn Mawr Hospital since 1993, and she is currently the managing partner of Bryn Mawr Skin Cancer Institute. Her practice focuses on our most complex cases of Skin Cancer.
Her other special interest is Cosmetic Dermatology. Since 1995, Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has been the Main Line's pioneer of Cosmetic Dermatology. Her college thesis focused on lasers, and ever since she has been at the leading edge of cosmetic skin care innovation and treatments. In 2006, she spun her cosmetic practice out of her medical practice, and started Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa to meet the demand of her Main Line and Delaware Valley cosmetic patients. She is Medical Director at Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa.
Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has received national recognition for her clinical work. She continues to publish in leading Dermatology journals. Often sought out by the media as an expert and luminary, Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has appeared in many print and television spots including CBS, NBC, CN8, CNN, and has been recognized by her peers as a “Top Doc”. Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa and Bryn Mawr Skin Cancer Institute are located adjacent to each other in Bryn Mawr, PA. Together they form the largest, most comprehensive, and most credentialed skin care center in the area. Bryn Mawr Skin Cancer is also located in Newtown Square, PA.
