Too much?: This is common. Sometimes adding too much fiber too soon can do this. Just back off on the fiber and increase slowly, so your body can adjust. It also depends on what kind of fiber you are taking in, for ex: beans, broccolli can cause more gas than other foods. Psyllium seeds are a good source of gentle fiber.
