"Mild" stool burden: is normal, no treatment necessary. Ileocecal lipomatosis is usually a benign, incidental, asymptomatic finding that requires no treatment. Occasionally it may be associated with symptoms or related to intermittent obstruction or intussusception in which case the treatment is surgical resection.
