NO: Tmj causes pain and discomfort. When eating or talking you hear a click or grinding noise but your vision shouldn't be impaired.

Possible: Tmj/tmd is referred to as trigeminal mediated disorders( some dentist do) . I believe this and if you know anything about the trigeminal nerve it could be possible. But i would think that is a very rare occurence.

Can be secondary: Normally, vision problems are not necessarily related to a tmj/tmd cause, but symptoms of tmj/tmd can include headaches and facial pain and some nerve related conditions- which may create vision issues. I would first see your pcp.

Rarely: Patients occasionally complain of pain behind the ear and rarely "blurre vision". But if you have prominent eye symptoms, see an eye doc ASAP.
