Anorexia: Loss of appetite is a very non-specific phenomenon and can occur with depression, infection, non-infectious inflammations, trauma or malignancy. Gastrointestinal upset can do this, or one of dozens of other causes. If this persists and you are losing weight it would be a good idea to consult with a doctor.
