Get an evaluation.: It isn't normal to have blood in the stool. While there are some explanations that are less serious, i.e., hemorrhoids or fissures, there are some more serious reasons as well. I am guessing you will be advised to have a colonoscopy to rule out colon cancer (unlikely, given your age - but not impossible), ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease, or a number of other causes. Don't worry; get checked!
