See dermatologist: You may be having a more severe flare of hand eczema. You will need to see your doctor or dermatologist for prescription strength topical steroids and antihistamines which can help with the inflammation. Avoid over-washing in hot water and drying soaps. Use mild gentle cleansers such as aveeno, (oatmeal) cetaphil, cerave. Moisturize frequently with aquaphor or vaseline or hand cream.
