Probably not: However, this would depend on when the iud was placed. The incidence of benign ovarian cyst is increased slightly with the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. Also want to rule out migration of the iud. An office visit to your ob/gyn would be recommended to further evaluate this pain.
