Probable dislocated : It sounds like your jaw is dislocated, where the ball slips back and the cartilage is "pushed" out of place. It could be an infection also, so check with you dentist as soon as possible. If it used to click it is probably your jaw. Seek help as soon as possible as it is easier to treat these early versus late where more injury occurs.

Disc displacment: You probably have an anteriorly displaced disc. Splint therapy, moist heat, and range of motion exercises are all equally needed. One without the other is probably not going to help much.
