Had a temp crown put on a lower molar. about a week later i have a small hard lump on my jaw line that i can move with my finger. no fever or obvious swelling but some mild aching. is this concerning or will it go away?

Concerning: Advise your dentist of the lesion and have then examine it. Although it may not be swollen, it should be addressed before continuation with crown fabrication.
