Had ovarian cyst drained a week ago, still getting the same pain, is this normal?

Pain may not b ovary: There was no size of the cyst noted but cysts on the ovary can be simple, normal, small cysts and usually do not cause pain. Further work-up would be advised. There are other causes of pelvic pain including urinary and bowel problems. Also, cysts that are drained often return. You should be seen again for further evaluation.
