A member asked:

I'm a diabetic 2. sometimes i forgot to take my jamuet xr and lipitor (atorvastatin) for days. what are the compilations. my a1c is 6.2 my readings are 140 to 180.

Consistency: A1c represents an average blood glucose. Blood glucose variability can give a falsely reassuring a1c. You may still be at risk for cardiovascular complication. While adherence is important, your risk is lower than many with an a1c of 6.2.
