It depends on your : Depends on what your weight was and what it is now, and how high your a1c hemoglobin was before you started on meds and what it is after loosing 50 lbs, which is good weight loss as a rule if your aic comes down below 6.5 you may be tapered of Onglyza (saxagliptin) and follow the a1c , but i will suggest you stay on metformin as it is cheap and it may help you to maintain your weight. But you should keep lipititor.

Great job!: Yes, there is always hope. Just keep taking care of yourself, eating appropriately with good nutrient-rich food and exercising. Follow closely with your doctor to see what might be able to be reduced and eliminated over time. Keep it up!
