HIgh protein level: High blood protein (hbp) level can be caused by dehydration causing bengin elevation of proteins. Other more serious causes of hbp are chronic inflammation, ameyloidosis, hiv/aids, multiple myeloma and monoclonical gammopathies. I would suggest your seeing an hematologist if the cause of your hbp is not due to dehydration as soon as you can to arrive at the correct cause of your hbp level.
