I have been told at the hospital that i have multiple cysts on both ovaries and that one of the larger ones is 4cm by 4cm can they b removed.?

Yes: However, it may not be necessary. There are several factors that determine whether a cyst(s) need to be removed. The most important is size relative to the appearance on ultrasound.And whether or not there is pain. This could be a sign of twisting of the ovary which can be dangerous.
