1 cm dermoid cyst on my left ovary . im having pain when i bend and sometimes when i sit .why is it hurting ? should i go the the hospital?

Needs follow up : Dermoid cysts are considered benign (not dangerous) but are usually surgically removed. How large is your cyst? Its size can contribute to the degree of pain you feel. Meanwhile, an NSAID like naproxen if safe for you, can give pain relief. You should discuss this with your medical provider; but an emergency visit is unnecessary unless your pain is intense or worsening.
