A member asked:

I have roto-scoliosis. in 2000 i had a 52 degree curve. now, in 2012 it affects my breathing. should i worry?

Probably: Over 12 years, the scoliosis may have advanced to a greater degree. With addiditional progression, the rotational deformity with associated rib cage changes can cause changes to the volume available for lung function. A follow-up evaluation for the scoliosis would be a good idea.
